#1 Vanier Canada Scholarship for Graduate Students

The Government of Canada has launched the Vanier Canada Graduate Bourses (Vanier CGS) to attract doctoral students to establish the country as a research center and an excellent higher education.

You should show excellent research potential, leadership qualities, and academic excellence in the Humanities, Social Sciences, Engineering, Health, and Natural Sciences graduates when you apply for your scholarship. The request process begins in July.

#2 International Master’s Degree and Doctoral Program Awards by the University of Waterloo

The International Masters and Ph.D. Awards of the University of Waterloo are presented to students with valid Canadian student visas in research-oriented graduate programs at the University. Great international student funding opportunities.

#3 Alberta Canadian Scholarship

The Canadian Alberta Bursary is sponsored by a Canadian NGO and undergraduate or postgraduate students are selected annually for this award.

#4 Ontario Graduate Scholarship

The Government of Canada offers Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships to students from abroad who wish to study in health, social sciences, or natural sciences. The application process starts in April for the next year.

The main purpose of the CGS Master Scholarship is to assist individuals who wish to improve or develop their research skills. This bursary favors students with outstanding academic records.

Carleton University offers three main types of Carleton scholarship awards to graduate students.

  • Teaching Assistantships involve receiving compensation for assisting teachers with different tasks, including grading and conducting tutorials. All students are considered for TAships.
  • Faculty members may also hire research assistants (RA) for various research projects.
  • Merit scholarships are offered to students with excellent academic performance upon the recommendation of the previous school’s department at the time of application.
